Can’t wait for more traveling! 42 yrs old, have 12.5 years left until retirement! Love your channel!
Also, check out the North Shore of Minnesota! Beautiful!
Up in the UP of Michigan this last August. Very pretty country. Lots to do!

  4. Mike Doran on March 12, 2021 at 11:36 pm

One of the best KYD videos!

  5. Dave S. on March 12, 2021 at 11:38 pm

Love the video! Can’t tell when people are going to see this! I really love how your relationship comes through, especially at the end of the video. As for the trips, I’ve always lived in PNW and inland NW/Rockies, and never want to leave. Your enthusiasm for other places makes me want to explore. I do like to slow down, so Yellowstone is a minimum 5 day trip, but then I live close. Tetons or Glacier is one trip for me. Oregon coast is a 5-10 day trip if you include Crater Lake. Mount Rainier, North Cascades, San Juan Islands? I did take one marathon trip from Idaho to Arches, Albuquerque (soccer regional tournament), Grand Canyon, Vegas and home. Didn’t have enough time for Bryce, Monument Valley, etc. I will be back to southern Utah! They all sound good, especially the Bourbon Trail! Happy 2021!

  6. Bruce Rigsby on March 12, 2021 at 11:40 pm

Great Video! What do you do with your dog when you are hiking national parks?

  7. Cathy Coats on March 12, 2021 at 11:43 pm

Great video! Another national park in Florida is Cape Canaveral National Seashore next to the Kennedy Space Center. It is one of the most beautiful natural beaches. We are preparing to become full time RV’ers. I love watching your videos. Thanks for sharing the info.

  8. Jennifer Henman on March 12, 2021 at 11:44 pm

Where specifically did you film this spot? You said Gallatin River- but where specifically? Thx

  9. Ten Minute Tokyo 2 on March 12, 2021 at 11:47 pm

I used to live in Silicon Valley and drove Bixby bridge every weekend. Awesome area.

  10. Jhawkkat on March 12, 2021 at 11:52 pm

We did a trip up to Minneapolis for Twins game, visited Minnehaha Falls while we were there. Traveled west to Teddy Roosevelt NP. Then onto Glacier NP. Down from there to Yellowstone, across north side to Beartooth Highway up to Red Lodge. Back across Beartooth Highway to east side of Yellowstone into Grand Tetons and Jackson. Then to Rocky Mountain NP and home. We did this in 10 days as well.

Looking forward to hitting the "LONG" road for the first time. Ford350 Super Duty Diesel and my 35′ fifth wheel…going it alone. 73 and female. Woohoo!

My fiancée and I are going on an epic two week trip starting in Wisconsin, going to Custer in SD, up to Glacier, then down to Grand Teton/Yellowstone, then back home. We are staying a few days in each location and can’t wait to 1. Marry my best friend and 2. Have this opportunity for such a great honeymoon!

  15. Kathleen Starosciak on March 12, 2021 at 11:56 pm

Michigan has two National lakeshores – Pictured Rocks and Sleeping Bear Dunes! WooHoo! Awesome state. Hundreds of State and National Forest campgrounds.

  18. Ashley Towles on March 12, 2021 at 11:58 pm

A few years ago for my brother’s high school graduation, my family and I flew into Vegas (we’re from Virginia) and drove up around LA up the coast, stayed in Saint Luis Obispo, all the way up to big sur, we saw the redwoods, San Francisco, went all through oregon and Washington, briefly in Idaho, up to BC and Alberta, to Banff, back down to Seattle to fly back. 21 days 😊

  19. Melissa Tyler on March 13, 2021 at 12:00 am

Your picnic blanket is so cute! Where can I find one like it?

  20. Ayanna B. on March 13, 2021 at 12:00 am

Please share where the beautiful tablecloth is from. Thanks!

  21. Michelle Norton on March 13, 2021 at 12:01 am

Awe, I grew up in Bozeman floating the Gallatin. Did you stop at Lewis Clark Caverns? It’s a must.

  22. Aaron Lipkowitz on March 13, 2021 at 12:03 am

Do most of the Nat’l parks have dump stations? Or us there an app/ web site that marks dump stations?

  23. Margaret Contreras on March 13, 2021 at 12:05 am

    Excellent video ❤️

  24. Marcia Walters on March 13, 2021 at 12:05 am

    Florida has Everglades National Park.

  25. Mike Postell on March 13, 2021 at 12:08 am

Another eastern epic trip would be to do Great Smokies then head onto the blue ridge parkway all the way to and through Shenandoah national park. That would be a great 10 day trip. I can’t argue with Kentucky but Shenandoah and blue ridge is also epic.

  26. Scotty E from the A on March 13, 2021 at 12:08 am

Everglades national park is in Florida as well as Tortuga’s.

  27. Cris Poulson on March 13, 2021 at 12:09 am

    Two weeks is sixteen days.

  28. John Langley on March 13, 2021 at 12:09 am

I’ve done the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Glacier but in reverse order. Best trip ever. We didn’t pull an RV though. Are you pulling that Airstream with F-150?
That’s how I want to do it next time. Looking at truck and RV combos now

  29. David Rosen on March 13, 2021 at 12:10 am

We just started watching your videos…they are great. Thanks for all the great ideas and advice.

  30. Westtexasdave on March 13, 2021 at 12:11 am

Thank you. Great video. My family and I are planning some type of rv trip. We are considering an rv instead of a pull behind Any thoughts on this?

  31. Larry Harr on March 13, 2021 at 12:11 am

We’ve spent last few yrs vacations in the middle of the country. 2 one week vacations (sandwiched between weekends) from Indiana Dunes State park to smokey mountains, Savanah and Atlanta. This year Gulf Shores then WEST BOUND. Colorado in October. Looking forward to retirement and weeks on end traveling. Love you guys. Hope to meet y’all sometime. (BTW we start in St. Louis MO.)

  32. Raul Maldonado on March 13, 2021 at 12:12 am

I am very late to the KYD party but so happy to have made it – you two are Great! I have a lot of catching up (and note taking) to do.

I had to leave a comment because in this video you mention the friendliness of The Smokey Mountain area and I could not agree more – my family and I visited 12+ years ago and I still talk about the amazing people.

Be safe and keep educating while making us laugh.

  33. Jeffrey Clark on March 13, 2021 at 12:13 am

For the record, Michigan does have a national park. Isle Royale National Park

  34. Beth on March 13, 2021 at 12:13 am

  44. Lynda Thomson on March 13, 2021 at 12:23 am

Monument Valley is great, have a Native American take you on a tour and then go on the chuck wagon camping trip into monument park. The Tetons Glacier Park is beautiful. We went for 1 month vacation with my sister and brother in law. Take your pass port and go in to Canada. Beautiful

  45. David Rubedor on March 13, 2021 at 12:24 am

Great video. Gave me lots of ideas. BTW, Michigan does have a national park – Isle Royal. Its in the middle Lake Superior and there are no roads on it. You’d think it’d be in Minnesota, but it’s actually Michigan.

  46. ihsan Petros on March 13, 2021 at 12:26 am

the most beautiful scene i have ever see is the independence pass – Aspen Colorado

Great video . We’ve done 3 of your mentioned trips. Michigan is such a fun time and yes we were YUPPERS part of the time. Acadia NP is almost annual for us and fun every year with "new" things. Love your channel

  49. Xman44x on March 13, 2021 at 12:29 am

Coming out of Texas, we went to 48 states in 40 days with our Winnebago 1800BH. 🤷🏼‍♂️ 16,636 miles 😎 Besides my state of Texas, Utah definitely is our second favorite state hands down.

  50. Gary Carter on March 13, 2021 at 12:31 am

wow! the California coastal trip sounds awesome but that would be 4-6 days of the 10 just to get there and back (I’m from Tennessee). But….I plan to retire in July after 35 years of working so who cares!!
