Welcome to my daily vlogs! TRAVEL. FOOD. COMEDY. SINGING. ANTS. LIFE.

I upload a new video every day at 7AM EST!

About Me:

My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first Youtube channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I’m also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!

It’s a shame you did not get to see the Bornean Pygmy Elephants on your river trek in Borneo. I was watching that particular vlog and was also hoping to see the elephants. The leopard they mentioned which is a Sunda Clouded Leopard which is something of a misnomer because they’re not related to the true leopard but belong to the genus Neofelis while true leopards belong to the genus Panthera and is also sometimes nicknamed as the Modern Sabertooth because of their proportionately longer fangs. It is nocturnal though so it would probably be hard to spot. Also that little blue bird you spotted was a male Black Naped Monarch. We also have that species here in the Philippines.

๐Ÿ˜ oh i remember watching all those vlog adventures. The last one reminds me of Kanagroo Valley river. You can hire a cannoe and just cruise down the river at your own pace. Same sorta feels.
Would love to do the deep sea fishing. Catchibg fish and eat it fresh yasss!!

now, I know what "dune bashing" is. I don’t think I would of survived that.

Great thanks to you coz I’m not an "outdoorsy" person however you’ve brought me anywhere as much as you could.๐Ÿ˜โค๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’œ.

Okay that Dubai Desert Trek reminded me of our trip at the Laoag sand dunes. We rode open ATVs but unfortunately there was like a Signal #3 typhoon so we were pelted with painful rain-sand pellets and in the end looked like sand/mud monsters after. Most unforgettable fun experience ever thooo ๐Ÿ˜‚

  11. Anne Horton on December 7, 2020 at 9:45 pm

I went dune bashing in Western Australia and the crazy driver told us โ€œitโ€™s more fun if you sit on the bonnet of the car … just grab hold of the bull bar at the front if you think youโ€™re falling offโ€!!!! … so we did it!!!! ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜‚ … yeah … it was a pretty dangerous and stupid thing to do – especially because he was trying to make us fall off … I was hanging on for dear life!! I Alan it forgot all about that memory until I saw your dune bashing ๐Ÿค—.

My greatest outdoor adventure was when I was 19 years old … I went to Malawi in Central Africa (on my own!) and a local guy took me out on Lake Malawi in a small speed boat. The Lake is so big it has a horizon (you canโ€™t see the other side). The fish eagles flew overhead and he was showing off and speeding along when we almost hit a smooth rock … which moved … it was a hippo in a herd of hippos … I thought it was cute and amazing – until the guy started screaming and all the blood drained from his face – apparently hippos are among the most dangerous animals on the planet – they are very aggressive and unpredictable! We managed to get away from them but then an intense storm came from nowhere and the sky turned dark grey and massive waves came from nowhere and started to crash completely over the small boat. I had to go right up on the pointy bow and hang on for dear life as I tried to weigh down the front of the boat to stop the boat from tipping over … the waves were crashing over me and the whole boat including the engine. Then the waves caused the outboard motor to stop and we could t get it to start again ๐Ÿ˜ณ the waves were to big and strong for us to even try to row so we got washed up onto the shore and had to walk in the shallows (where the crocodiles hang out) towing the boat at dusk until we finally got back to where we had come from – a couple of hours later. Truly an unforgettable experience!! ๐Ÿ˜…

I remember I got hooked with your Borneo vlogs specially the part where you were explaining the different tribes and their tribal houses. I was watching your vlogs daily since Borneo but wasn’t commenting and liking at all. I just don’t do that. ๐Ÿ˜ It was when you had a Christmas contest that I started commenting and thankfully you were able to reply and like my comments after a while. ๐Ÿ˜Š I’m also grateful that I have met you and RJ here in Taipei. I love travel and food and every vlog of yours is crazy happiness and always a learning process for me. Thank you Mikey and RJ for bringing more color into my life.

  35. Willow Winkle on December 7, 2020 at 10:19 pm

I can’t decide which of those looks more fun: the snorkeling and feeding the fish or the jungle river tour… I would love to see all the animals but I would have been afraid of the crocodiles LOL – The time I went snorkeling it was scary because the reef/bottom wasn’t visible at all.. it was like swimming over a black void – beautiful but scary! – hope you are having a good couple of days off, Mikey! ๐Ÿ˜ (missed today’s positive affirmation so made up one hehe)

  36. Joemar Oliveros on December 7, 2020 at 10:23 pm
