Dublin, Ohio is the best. It’s actually better than Red, White and Boom downtown in Columbus.

  8. Martin Rice on July 23, 2021 at 9:04 pm

  13. Joshua Cordero on July 23, 2021 at 9:09 pm

I recommend Independence, OR. Its a bit on the nose and the joke writes itself. I went this year and it was nice and very festive. The crowds were crazy and you had to pay but the firework show was nice over the Willamette.

As I write this I remember you live in Oregon 😂

Amherst NH also has an awesome July 4th parade!

  16. Battle Of Trenton on July 23, 2021 at 9:15 pm

I always enjoyed the festivities in Tacoma, WA. July 3rd there is a food and arts festival in the park, which is awesome. On the 4th, down on the waterfront, there is a street festival all day long combined with an airshow. And then at night the festival becomes the site of the fireworks show. The sight of fireworks reflecting off the harbor is simply gorgeous! And if its too crowded down on the waterfront, you can watch it from any number of hilltops and bluffs overlooking the bay.

Not sure why Boulder made the list but Vail has a much better 4th of July celebration. And, for the love of all things holy, it is NOT the “University of Boulder.” It’s the University of Colorado. Or, if you live here, CU Boulder.

Dude Boston had to be on this WTF?

  19. The4thperson on July 23, 2021 at 9:19 pm

Briggs I’m from Detroit. If we ran into each other in public I assure you we would only have friendly words. I love the city but I’m not blind to it’s problems.

Why does Disney celebrate Independence Day, they are anti-American and leftist.

  24. Chris Duitsman on July 23, 2021 at 9:28 pm

What about Washington, DC on the 4th of July. After all it is the nation’s capital.

  25. art2daG2002 on July 23, 2021 at 9:28 pm

I wouldn’t rank Addison Ka-Boom Town over Disneyland. The last four years, the fireworks show along with the music sync to the show via a radio station has been disappointing.

  26. Brandon Wilks on July 23, 2021 at 9:29 pm

Chicago Is AWESOME During The 4th

  27. Dideck on July 23, 2021 at 9:31 pm

  29. Alexey on July 23, 2021 at 9:34 pm

The biggest 4th of July firework show I’ve seen was in RoseBowl in LA. Enormous fireballs were blowing up right above our heads! After that, any firework I saw was just pathetic!

  30. Dangic23 on July 23, 2021 at 9:35 pm

Was expecting NYC and DC to be 1 and 2.
I was just at Mt Rushmore this week…lol

  31. Keaton Merck on July 23, 2021 at 9:35 pm

The coolest thing I’ve ever experienced on the 4th of July was flying over night and watching all the fireworks being shot off by thousands of people over hundreds of miles.

  32. michael sharp on July 23, 2021 at 9:35 pm

    I don’t see San Antonio

  34. Sel Randolph on July 23, 2021 at 9:36 pm

Honestly, any lake is the place to be for the 4th of July, when you have a bunch of people in the same area who make good money every year and stay on the lake and young, they will drop some serious cash on fireworks, my neighbor spent 10K alone this year on fireworks

I’m astounded Idaho Falls didn’t make it with the Melaleuca Freedom festival it’s the biggest fireworks display this side of the Mississippi and millions of dollars each year are spent on the artillery alone and there’s tons of love music and great food

  48. Soccer in the South with Wolfman Jeff on July 23, 2021 at 9:55 pm

Eastport, Maine. First on the fourth! Being the most northeastern city, the sun rises first so they celebrate that. It is a weeklong festival with includes fireworks over the largest tide pool in the hemisphere lobster galore, and whale watching. They watch the fireworks on the Canadian side on July 1st (Canada Day) and the Canadians watch the fireworks in Eastport on the 4th.
