Thousand Trails Russian River Review | Things to do While Camping Here

In this video we head out in our little Airstream on a three week trip toward the Oregon Coast. We start out from a moochdocking location and head toward our first stop to one of our favorite grocery stores-Whole Foods, where we ultimately spend way too much money.

Next we head to our first camping spot, the Russian River Thousand Trails in beautiful Sonoma County. We conduct an extensive review of the campsites and show you around the park.

Next, we visit the small town of Cloverdale and check out the downtown area.

Next, we visit a town which has really changed over time to a posh little place, Healdsburg. We used to come here as teenagers, but the town has turned into a nice little tourist town with plenty of shopping, sites and restaurants.

All of these locations are great if you’re heading to the North Bay and looking for things to check out while camping in the area.

See you on the next video!

Small world. I went to Rohnert Park JHS and Rancho-Cotate SHS in the early 70s. Never thought I’d hear someone mention RP in an Airstream YouTube video! Happy New Year. 2022! G

I just waved goodbye as you were leaving the Russian River Thousand Trails Park. I’m in the Westy!
