I can definitely vouch for this.

I was actually able to land my current job thanks to a friend of mine that I interned with over the summer before graduating App State University.

    Hi Cassandra,

Great advice and very tactful. Definitely will implement the strategies into my active job search. I noticed that the video has some audio issues after about 5:15. Again, thanks for the content and take care.

I just want to give everyone some hope for those who lost their job or are looking for a job due to this pandemic. I was a flight attendant for an UK airline before I got made redundant due to the pandemic around 6 months ago. It became very hard for me to get a job in the airline industry so I decided to change my career and become a web developer. I took a course with Edplx for only £20 where they have some amazing courses with accredited certificates and now I am working on Web design projects from the comfort of my own home as a web developer. So don’t give up guys. There is always light at the end of the tunnel. KEEP FIGHTING!!!!

In the Philly area, there’s a group called BENG — Business Executives Networking Group. They host a TON of events online. I haven’t been to one yet but I once interviewed their executive director and she’s super motivated to grow people’s careers.

It sucks that it has come to this really. My whole life, I’ve wanted nothing to do with social media. I’ve actually always been scared of other people. Now I have to learn how to rely on it. Do you have any videos about how to get over fears of reaching out to society and to stop wanting to stay in the shadows of existence?

  21. Cheryl Goldsworthy on November 20, 2020 at 9:49 pm

These tips about networking are excellent advice and they really work. I did all of these things and was referred by someone I worked with about three years ago – she heard about an opportunity and referred me to the hiring manager. Cassandra, your videos have helped me so much – how to answer interview questions, how to research a company and especially how to succeed in virtual interviews. Thank you! Now it’s time for me to follow your advice about what to do during my first week.
