*_These are amazing.>_**_allmy.tips/SevylorKayaks?れ_**_ < We just used them on Lake Chelan, WA for the first time. It really did pump up in 5 minutes and we were in the water. It is a bit of a challenge to figure out the backpack into the seat. And it is really hard to fit back into the backpack comopactly. All three of my teens, with no experience at all kayaking were maneuvering all over the lake. The are super confortable and a hell of a lot of fun. I am going to buy 2 more so the whole family can kayak together. We all had a blast. They are light, durable, and really cute. The oars work great. They are very compact as well. This couldn’t have been more perfect for us._*

To me electronics just seem like extra weight when you factor in battery, wire harness, the device itself. I’m a big dude (6’2" and about 270) so I always got to pay attention to weight and weight distribution. I ain’t slamming anyone who uses fish finders and depth finders or motors and what not. You like it then go ahead and use it. If I saw you on the lake I might pull your leg a little sayin you got enough stuff on that thing to start WW3. I don’t mean nothing but just poking a little fun. My grandpa and dad taught me to just read the water and the fish that live in it though. The tech looks cool to me but I grew up to old fashioned. Then I also have a fear of tipping over and ruining a bunch of expensive doodads.

I prefer speed over just stability, the wider the kayak the slower and more miserable it is to paddle. My advise would be for guys not just to consider stability, a slow heavy boat can be a deciding factor for people to hate the sport of kayaking.

Need a little help. Looking for a Kayak that I can fish out of but also use it floating down the creeks with the family. Under $1000. Looking for any recommendations.
