Camping and Hiking in the Adirondacks

Camping and Hiking in the Adirondacks

We couldn’t have asked for better weather to climb Algonquin. It was amazing that there was little to no wind at the top. The hike was about 8.6 miles long with over 3000′ of elevation gain. The trail was quite rocky for most of the way. Our total time was 9 hours and 45 minutes with about 5 hours of moving time. We also climbed Baker Mountain in Saranac Lake the next day but we only took pictures of that. I hope you enjoy!

Wow! Trulaina was impressive pitching that tent. We should have taken her on our Priesthood outings.

Good job with the filming. I really like the fire time lapse.

What beautiful shots! What a wonderful experience, being close to nature. Your family is so blessed because these are the kind of memories kids should have. My best childhood memories are exploring forests and creeks in our mountain neighborhood, just like these!
