I have been wanting to get into fly fishing and purchased a 5wt base kit after watching this video and I must say this is a top quality kit. the attention to detail is the best I’ve seen in multi piece rods. I really like the timing marks and the fact that you really get everything you need to start fishing minus Flys

Ive been watching alot of fly fishing videos, and I’ve noticed these names keep appearing with fly fishing. Tim rajeff from echo, Steve rajeff from g loomis, Gary loomis from tfo. Looks like the fly fishing industry is made up with related family member. Gary loomis from tfo, and the company G. Loomis the same guy, two different company?

Tim, great basic how-to video!!! I love my echo 2 rod (it’s a work of art) A Solo fiberglass would be perfect to leave in my truck for when I get the urge. This video will definitely help me when I get back out on the water. Also, I have never seen a video on adding tippet as well done as yours- I feel embarrassed struggling with attaching tippet; I’m going to go practice right now! Thanks, you rock Tim!!!!!!

I am knew to fly fishing, I have seen videos where people say to cut off the loops that come on the end of the line and the leader and tie them together, is that a matter of preference or is it standard practice?

  16. Jerry Parnell on December 11, 2020 at 10:20 pm

  17. James Dunn on December 11, 2020 at 10:20 pm

Nothing bad about having the owner and CEO of the company sell you on his gear because he believes in it. A fly fisherman owning a fly fishing company. What could be better than that?
