Camping hack 8, sitting on a sturdy cooler is comfortable enough.
Am on here on Youtube searching for camping guidelines and happy that i found this video!
my husband has just recently rented gears from mygaragerentals.com (i wonder if anyone has heard of this) at an amazing fee and we cant wait to go on this trip
so thank you !!
What is the size of your cooler? I am not sure if I need a 28 qt or 50 qt. I need it for weekend camping for 2 people.
Wash and clean your gear. But make sure they are super dry before storing it back into your camping bin. Because if not. Things will rust and mold if there is still moisture
Hi I only start watching your videos yesterday and wow I have so many thing I won’t to go and do. All I won’t to go and do Is cook outside thank you for all the ideas 😊
We keep a large plastic storage box with all our camping gear. ALL of it. Just grab and go. Maybe a quick grocery store stop.
How long will that cooler stay cool with those frozen jugs?
Thank you
Thanks for making these hacks and tips videos. My S.O. and I are about to start our adventure in camping and I started researching ideas on how to stay organized.
loved it! thanks
Blue lives matter
What a great tips! Thinking about my first camping!
Tired of hearing "total game changer".
Mind blown! I’ve been a camper for a few years, but some of these tips are totally new to me. Thank you! Will have to try them out! Maybe try it in my own videos!

can anyone tell me the name of the last song in the background< thanks
I use a recycled plastic wet wipe container as m "bag of bags"– used to have a bag designated for bags/all sizes from small sandwich to kitchen garbage. Now I do the small bags in the wet wipe container, smaller clears in a huge ziplock I can see through and larger bags in a white kitchen bag. Makes it simpler; esp in near darkness so we aren’t digging around in a bag for another one!
Amanda sure did enjoy ya video. Thanks..
Great advice. a couple other tips I have learned over the years. Bring a 12 feet of nylon rope and a couple of cloth pins. You can string the rope between two trees. Perfect clothes line to hang all types of things to dry, towels, swimming trunks etc. Make sure to string the rope in an area where nobody will be walking at night, so they can not hurt themselves in the dark. Also the dollar store is your best friend for disposable camping items (not cooking pots / pans) Each spring I buy two of the door mats. Place one in front of your tent entrance and the other right inside your tent. I can take my boots off outside my tent and place them right inside. This prevents the majority of dirt from you shoes getting inside the tent. The dollar store is also great for purchasing camping dish towels, wash clothes, oven-mits etc. By the end of the season if they are pretty trashed, just throw them away. Always bring a couple small boxes of wooden matches to start a fire or light lamps. Stash them not only in the camping tote box but also your glove box of your car. Just incase your camping gear gets soaking wet from rain you still have dry matches in the car. Also I am sure this has been discussed in other videos, ALWAYS have a well stocked first aid kit that is purchased from a commercial store (Walmart, Target etc). If you have one from previous year, always check the expiration date on the medications before going camping. I can not tell you how many times we have had to use the first aid kit at 10:00 PM in the pitch dark (burns on hand, cut a finger, fishing lurer mishap etc..) Finally this tip is for the ladies from my wife: always bring a baseball cap; you don’t have to worry about how your hair looks starting day 2 of camping. Apparently Smoky the Bear might make an appearance at your camp site and you want to look your best….
Good tips
Very informative. I love camping. I have been camping for years (car camping and canoe camping with portage).
Great hacks, I enjoyed the video!
I use the Talenti Containers too. I have a campground/ hotel hack for laundry runs. I put dryer sheets around the inside wall of the container. In the middle, I put a snack bag with $12.00 worth of quarters then 6 tide pods. I keep it in a duffle bag with a trash bag for dirty clothes. When the clean clothes get washed and dried, fold and place in duffle. Makes vacations a little easier!😊
Seems like great tips, but too much for me. Good vid !
Hey, just bumped into this channel. What great ideas! I LOVE the DIY Fire Starters! I never would have thought of that! I will also save money on not buying ice! I’m subscribing to your channel! Awesome!!!
Just so you know, i did not watch any of your video. The reason why? I am sick of hearing the "trending word" hack! It is a trick of the trade or something to make your camping easier, not a "hack"! Please knock if off with these bs trends and tell it like it is!
What are leftovers?
I keep my kit in a toughbox with wheels and a pull handle. Perfect for car camping or, in case of a disaster, easy to grab with all of the essentials. Plenty of room to add in your food, tent, and sleep system, keeping everything in one box.
watching this video is a waste of time. none of them are actual hacks they are just the things that has been done if you have a common sense
hai yall, and im Weirdly stupid
Why not just cut fresh vegetables at home put them in ziplock. Lot your camp hacks makes no sense
I saw someone do 7 day pill containers 4 spices.
A gallon gatorade container is a must try. Thanks for sharing useful hacks.
really helpful thanks Amanda. Esp large bottle of water from freezer for cooler box.
I love my stasher bags!! They are so great!!
CAMPBELL SOUPS.
END OF COOKING.
PRETTY WOMAN
I use tic tac containers to put my spices in. Plenty of spice and very little space.
Your video offered some good ideas especially for the people that are new to camping . I might add that we have had the containers specific with our camp cookware and a separate bin for dry goods and have done it that way for along time but we discovered one of the best camp items is a pantry . We bought a 6 pocket pantry and love being able to take our stuff out of the containers when camping as we found it does get cumbersome digging through the containers and the counter on to can be used as a prep area or we use it as a bar prep area for adult cocktails.
Thanks for the tips! my family love to go outdoor and space is an issue.
Good info
Great video!
My ex and I had bins for our camping stuff always ready to go. Love the hack of adding the Indian food.
