The method shown to purify water is actually how you sterilize water.
You can purify water by making a filter using a plastic bottle, cut bottom off, put rocks at bottom of small opening, then sand, and on top grass or other safe greens.
Pour the water you found through this filter into the container then boil it

This is not really a video for survival hacks, you just did some neat, little things and tried to apply them to survival. Nothing against it, but they dont really help unless you want to carry around so much stuff. And if you already prepare you can just get better stuff.

Dumbass you just made your video on front of a painting

  8. Bama's Ghost on March 31, 2020 at 10:32 am

That is definitely not a jungle..
But cool vid man. Also, you can’t just boil water and expect it to be good drinking water. You have to actually filter it first if you find it in the woods, forest, jungle, etc.

Use fingernail polish clear cheap kind. If u have strike anywhere matches those have the white top. Other stick matches are all one color u have to use the sticker that’s on the side of the box. Your box sticker will wear out before u have used up the matches. Don’t know if other match stickers will work. Clear nail polish will work on both stick matches. Dung put all over match then let dry. Both kind of stick matches will strick on box stickers. Try it you’ll see it works. You need to know how to start a fire with a Flint and a ferral rod there cheap Amazon. You will have fire in any weather. Look up YouTube videos on how to start fires you will come across showing how to use Flint and a ferral rod. Everyone should learn this it could save yours are some ones else’s. Keep one at where u live and one in the vehicle.

Wow a capsule of burned superglue! That will come in handy like never! But wait, I could also make the shittiest flashlight I’ve ever seen by destroying a much more expensive solar light. The genius of this is astounding!

I enjoyed the steel wool, cotton, match, battery mix. I can never find strike anywhere matches, so if your striker gets moist or won’t work, there is this. It’s a lot but not when your life depends on it.

when I was a kid 1972 our school made survival kits and then we where scored I knew about wax on matches making them waterproof well the survival guide said that’s about a silly as you can get. since one bic lighter should give you about a thousand lights so why not have four lighters packaged on your person in your gear onboard your craft and maybe get your partner to carry one.national parks Canada’s official kit required to be carried by tour guides and such weighs in at just under twenty kilos. the kit I made fit inside a tobacco tin and weighed about two pounds
